Knitting 101 Teacher : Linda G.
This is a class for people that do not know how to knit or need a refresher. During this three-week class you will learn how to cast on (attaching yarn to the needle), knit, purl, cast off and learn different stitch patterns. You will make a scarf and a knit and purl sampled wash cloth. *Skills needed- NONE* Price: $40 / 3 sessions.

Knitting 102 Teacher :Madalene
This is the next step after learning the basics in knitting 101. We will make a hat, bias washcloth and a sampler lace scarf. In these projects you will learn circular knitting, working double points, increasing, decreasing, pattern reading and basic lace knitting. *Skills (C on, C off, K, P)* Price $ 40 / 3 sessions

Crocheting 101 Teacher :Madalene
You will learn to make the basics stitches, change color and read stitch patterns. You will make a sampler, small project such as small bag or scarf and a crochet flower. *Skills needed- NONE* Price: $40 + supplies for 3 sessions.

Bead Knitting Teacher :Madalene
Add sparkling dimension into your knitting by including well placed beads. We will make a beautiful beaded wristlet. In this class we will learn how to incorporate beads into our knitting. Skills (C on, C off, K,P, K in Rnd)* Price $ 30/ 1 session

Have you dropped a stitch late at night and didn’t know how to pick it up? Have you needed to rip out several rows to fix a mistake? In this class you will capture your renegade drop stitches & rip out rows. An oops sampler needed before start of class and or bring one recent mistake. *Skills(C on, C off, K,P )*

Socks Teacher :Linda G
Don’t let turning heels or toe decreases scare you! Learn the anatomy of basic sock construction. By taking advantage of self-patterning yarn by making everyone will think you did all this color work. Socks make a wonderful portable project. They are the perfect thing to carry with you when you’re watching a hockey game, or waiting at the doctor's office. *Skills (Con, C off, K,P )* Price- $40.00 for 3 sessions.

Needle Felting Teacher :Madalene
Learn how to take roving (unspun wool) or any wool yarn and create beautiful felted pieces with a barbed needle. Needle felting can be used to add accents to knitwear, cloth or felted accessories. We'll show you the basics, then work on your choice of needle felting purse kit. Skills NONE Price $45 includes purse kit.

Woven Tote Basket Teacher :The Bookers
We all have tons of yarn and projects to carry around. This tote bag is the perfect size to carry all yours projects on the go. This class is a fabulous introduction into basket weaving by skilled basket weavers. You will create a tote basket with leather handles. Space is limited and filling quickly. Sign up and give us color suggestion for reed. Max amount is 9 people: Skills None Price $65 for 1 session. Price includes your basket kit. This is a long class; feel free to bring drinks and snacks.

Cables Teacher :Madalene
The simple addition of cables can enhance your knitting but adding complexity, and texture to your project. This beautiful cable scarf is the perfect introduction to cable knitting. In this class you will learn the mechanics of left and right twisting cables. You will also receive a free hat pattern to match your new cable scarf. *Skills (C on, C off, K,P)* Price $15 / 1 sessions.

Baby Surprise Jacket Teacher :Madalene
The architect of knitting, Elizabeth Zimmermann strikes again. This sweater is comprised of just knit stitch and some decrease. It is a mysterious origami-like piece of knitting, that when folded up becomes a brilliant little sweater. You can stripe this sweater using up those bits of yarn left over from other projects. *Skills (C on, C off, K,P)* Price $40 / 3 sessions.

Sew Right Teacher :Madalene
Seams can make the difference between "home made" and "hand crafted" in your knitting project. Learn to sew invisible or nearly invisible side seams, shoulder seams, and armholes. Perfect your technique by practicing sewn seams in mattress stitch, weaving, and combinations of the two. Bring in 4- 4x4 swatches and 2- 4x4 swatches still on the needles to learn the Kitchner. *Skills (C on, C off, K,P)* Price $15 / 1 sessions.

Coriolis / Houdini Sock Teacher :Megan
Cat Bordhi has created new toe up sockitecture. You can use double points on circular to make these gusset-less socks. In the first 2 week you will make the Coriolis sock which has a short row heel and a unique spiral pattern around your foot. In the last 2 weeks you will start a new sockitecture and make a sock with 2 toes. One toe will turn in to your heel after you have cut your stitches called steeking. It is very helpful if you have made a sock before. *Skills (C on, C off, K,P)* Price $50 / 4 sessions.

Wandering Road Scarf Teacher :Madalene
Short rows can be used later on to make shaping in you sweater or to make a heel in a sock. Using the short rows and self striping yarn you will make a scarf that has curves. We will make 3 triangles on the left and right side to make the curves in this scarf. *Skills (C on, C off, K,P)* Price $ 25 / 1 sessions

Drop Spindle Teacher :Madalene
Always wanted to learn to spin? Fascinated by the spinning spindle? Come learn to spin in the ancient way, on a drop spindle! We will be spinning first with a hooked stick so that you can see how the fibers twist together, then move on to the drop spindle. Skills NONE Price $50 includes kit with spinning book.

Entrelac Teacher :Madalene
Entrelac is knitting triangles and rectangles, one at a time, attached to each other as you knit. In this class you will learn the basics of entrelac knitting to knit a warm and cozy headband. We will be make the Entrelac head band off of Knitty. Com

This is your opportunity to pursue an interest in the age-old craft of tatting to make delicate trims and edgings. Learn to make picots, joins, double stitch, and how to read patterns.
