Knitting 101 Madalene
This is a class for people that do not know how to knit or need a refresher. During this three-week class you will learn how to cast on (attaching yarn to the needle), knit, purl, cast off and learn different stitch patterns. Free sampler wash cloth pattern. *Skills needed- NONE* Price: $40 / 3 sessions.

Felted Bag Linda G.
In the good old days when knitted wool clothes were washed in hot water we were devastated by the outcome. Now, whole books are written about how to achieve wonderful results with a knitted wool, hot water, soap and agitation. Let's get together and create a felted bag. We'll knit it in class and you can felt it in your washing machine at home. *Skills (C on, C off, K,P)* Price $ 30 / 2 sessions.

Beaded Ornament Madalene
You won’t believe how easy it is to add spunk and sparkle to your knitting projects with beads. In this class you will learn the basic techniques for bead knitting while knitting a beautiful beaded ornament. You will need needles size 5 double points. OOPS Madalene
Have you dropped a stitch late at night and didn’t know how to pick it up? Have you needed to rip out several rows to fix a mistake? Sock and Felted Slippers Madalene
Don’t let turning heels or toe decreases scare you! Learn the anatomy of basic sock construction. By taking advantage of self-patterning yarns, everyone will think you did all this color work. Socks make a wonderful portable project. They are the perfect thing to carry with you when you’re watching a hockey game, or waiting at the doctor's office. You will have the choice of knitting a felted slipper or a boot sock. *Skills (Con, C off, K,P )* Price- $45.00 for 4 sessions.

Toe Up Socks Madalene
Have you ever wondered how tall should I knit this cuff? Do I have enough sock yarn for a pair? With toe up socks you don’t have to ask those questions again. The guessing is gone! Open Knit Madalene
The class for those who know how to knit (even if it's just the basics) but who want to learn more or who need help or guidance with a particular project. Intro to Cables Linda G.
Don't let cables get your needles in a twist! It doesn’t matter how complex the cables look. The elements and techniques are the same. By making a cable hat you will learn the basics of cable formation, reading cable patterns and charts. *Skills (C on, C off, K,P)* Price $ 15/1 session.

Color with the Works Linda G.
Do you want to break free of single colors and plain stripes? We will show you the ins and outs of color working. You will learn the basics, of attaching new yarn, floating, and recognizing your stitches and reading charts. My First Sweater Linda
This class will introduce you to knitting raglan sweaters from the top down. You will have the choice of cardigan, V-neck or a pull over. This technique enables you to try the sweater on as you knit, allowing for adjustments as you go. The sweater can be knit in any size at any gauge.

Needle Felting Madalene
Learn how to take roving (unspun wool) or any wool yarn and create beautiful felted pieces with a barbed needle. Needle felting can be used to add accents to knitwear, cloth or felted accessories. We'll show you the basics, then work on your choice of needle felting purse kit. Skills NONE Price $45 includes purse kit

Drop Spindle Madalene
Always wanted to learn to spin? Fascinated by the spinning spindle? Come learn to spin in the ancient way, on a drop spindle! We will be spinning first with a hooked stick so that you can see how the fibers twist together, then move on to the drop spindle. Skills NONE

Woven Tote Basket The Browns: Jen and Yevette
We all have tons of yarn and projects to carry around. This tote bag is the perfect size to carry all your project on the go. This class is a fabulous introduction into basket weaving by skilled basket weavers. You will create a tote basket with leather handles. Space is limited and filling quickly. Sign up and give us color suggestion for reed. Max amount is 9 people: Skills: None Price $65 for 1 session. Price includes your basket kit. This is a long class, feel free to bring drinks and snacks

Entrelac Linda
We will make a felted notions bag for all your knitting goodies. Your knitted fabric will look like strips of stockinette stitch that have been woven on the bias. *Skills (C on, C off, K,P, K in Rnd)* Some homework dues before start of first class. Price $ 40 / 3 sessions.

Private Lesson
Want to take a class but date and time don’t fit you schedule. You can take Private Lesson instead. Call Ahead to schedule time and dates. You can take a class listed in this schedule during store hours for the same class price. Other wise you can schedule a private lesson based on your needs: $15 dollars for the first hour and $10 more for each additional hour for lessons not listed
Etiquette for Registration & Classes
1. ½ of the class fee is due at time of registration. Full amount is due night of the class. 2 .If we cancel class due to lack of volume or weather a store credit will be issued for deposit.
3. If you could give us 48 hours or more notice of cancellation we will give you store credit for amount paid. Cancellation with 47 or less hours are subject to a $5 processing fee if seat is not filled. 4. The max is 6 students & the min is 3, unless teacher gives consent. 5. At time of registration a supply list & or an assignment to be completed before class may be issued. Other wise you can pick up your supplies on the first class date. 6. Supplies purchased at K1W2 will receive a discount. 7. Out of Respect for fellow students & the teacher, please arrive on time. If you are tardy please understand that your time will not be made up after class time has ceased. 8. We will not call you to remind you class, but we will call 1 day before class if it is cancelled.
